Itni Shiddat Se Maine Tujhe Paane Ki Koshish Ki hai

Tumko paaya hain, to jaise khoya hoon,
Kehna Chaahu bhi, to tumse kya kahoon,
Kisee zabaa mein bhi, yeh lavz heen nahin,
Ke jinme tum ho kya, tumhe bataan sakoon.

Main agar kahoon, tum saa haseen,
Kayanaat mein, nahin hain kahin,
Tareef yeh to bhi, sach hain kuch bhi nahin !

But this one beats it all (courtesy OSO):

Itni Shiddat Se Maine Tujhe Paane Ki Koshish Ki hai,
Ki Har Zarre Ne Mujhe Tujhse Milane ki Saazish Ki Hai.

Naam kya hai janab ka ...Face Off

With the advent of telecommuting and folks across multiple geographic locaitons, sometimes the completed project gets executed with only the name being know. Often a face cannot (or is not) tagged to the name due to logistics issues.

But does it really matter ! Can we have the same level of comfort and rapport by knowing the name of the person we are talking/working with. Is that all ? What caused the new chat site to start allowing photo mug-shots to have a view of the person. How did the evolution happen from simple-looking chat sites to newer enhanced sites that incorporate photo, voice, movies in addition to Chat.

Yes - a "face" to tag to the Name is a great advantage. Often during the working enviroment, if one knows the other person (either met or has seen the other personally or via sharing of photos), the discussion goes on a more comfort level and is more effective and efficient. So, when we say "What's in a name ?" - it is really that and much more beyond that, in this new world of communication.

Sites like Orkut (and other equivalent sites) are gaining popularity as we know who we are chatting/orkutting with. Its not the old days of chatting with a "user-name", with no view of the person at the other end (of course very few users really used webcams) !

Well, there are caveats in the newer name-face recognization with fake profiles coming up, but then Rome was not build in One Day. We take a small step at a time :-)

Offcourse, on a lighter vein - the face can also lead to more confusion. An example, could be the driving License (attached photo) of a popular movie star as shown in one of the newer movies.
Guess who !

Om Shanti Om... (Future Filmfare awards)

Bolo Om Shanti Om ! Om Shanti Om ! Om Shanti Om ! Om Shanti Om !

Wow ! great ! Om Shanti Om... its the movie of the current week ! We have a 'hit' story ..and not to speak of the star studded cast in the Om Shanti Om. .... well ! of course every one speaks of "ShantiPriya" and "OK" :o)

Reincarnation is a very old concept. We have the great hindi hit "Karz" that was storyline that had a wronged lover, taking rebirth and taking 'good' care of the villains. And we have a happy ending.

Well, as the saying goes..it Old wine in new bottle. The older the wine... the better it is. Hence, the older the storyline, the better it is. The new Bottle (Om Kapoor - OK and Deepika) is a boost to the story !

But, is Om Shanti Om the end ! Nope... we also got a view of the Movies to come... in the future (who says Time travel is not possible !!) Filmfare awards... We got a glimpse of sequent "Dhoom 5" - with Abhishek "NOT" in the movie ! Hey that is news !

Computer simulation will make its mark. With the costs of star-studded folks now being
paid only in Crores... Software technology will provide real life computer simulation that will remove the need to shell out crores. Food for thought ! Cheers to the world for Computer Simulation...

And of-course we have the all-out bombarding of Sharukh Khan movies in the years to come. Be prepared to see Sharukh Khan, Sharukh Khan and more Sharukh Khan :-) Yes ... that's the view of the current projected furture Filmfare awards... We have "Phir Bhi Dil hai N.R.I" and "Main Bhi Hoon Na" !

Wow ! What a remake ! Same hero - different actress.... Well ! it is a simple Business rule ..of demand and suppy !

And of course, where there is action ... there has to be Akshay Kumar also. And it a mix of Matrix, Mask and well a bit of Tollywood, Mollywood... and more !

The "Return of the Khiladi" (reminds of the Trilogy of Lord of the Rings - Return of the King) has Mr. Action catching bullets equivalent to a Twenty20 catch ! Well, on the optimistic side if he loses his acting job Mr. Action can always join the India cricket team.

All said and done the Winners Take it all.... So the Future prize for the best Hero in Indian movies goes to Mr. Om Kapoor a.k.a OK :-)

Well, we did some equivalent 'movement' from Mr. Action in Return of the Khiladi. Or did my eyes trick me !

WELL, All said and done... the final crowd puller is "ShantiPriya". The cast, story line and the strenght put in for the movie was awesome and clicked ! Finally is that not what matters .....

All Hail Shantipriya a.k.a Sandy !

Cheers to That !!! Om Shanti Om !!!

Ek Udaan (A flight)

Yes.. Yes.. Diwali is over and now one has to get back to work. But is that all...there is a still a flight to catch from Delhi to Bangalore. A sure shot no-worry 2:30 flight ! Why the need to spend even 2 mins on that thought....

All folks were checked in, and at the correct moment the boarding was initiated. Folks were in good mood...well folks, we have heard Delhi flights being delayed due to Delhi Fog (well, we actually would call it as smog - in the evenings !) that was acceptable :-)

The Boeing geared up, the Captain mentioned the usual welcome message.."Welcome to ***** Airlines. All boarding completed. Crew clear the deck for take off". Bingo ! we are all set to go.
Lights were dimmer, the plane geared up and the jets fired...

And there behold came the surprise annoucement from the Captain " We have being informed by Delhi Airport has reported take off delays. We are 16th on the take off wating list" !! Waiting list... hey ! we thought only trains had waiting lists ! Could not believe my ears :-)

Then we knew the fact.. looks like one of the runaways was under repair, and all the International and Domestic departures and arrivals were on a single runway. So much for the captials International and Domestic airport...

Well, then the coundown started as the plane inched towards the main tarmac..it was equivalent to a lottery..as the position came closer for the jackpot (in this case a go to fly).

9:00 pm (16th position).....15th...14th...13th...12th..11th..10th....
.....9th.....8th.....7th....6th....5th...4th....3rd..
.....2nd...
......1st position (10:00 pm) --- Bingo !!

10:00 pm .... yes ! we are ready to fly (hopefully !!!!!)

ETA Bangalore - 12:30 am midnight :-) not bad ..eh ! we were still hopeful !! The flight was uneventful and finally we landed at Bangalore at the scheduled time 12:30 am midnight (well, that to Delhi airport were 1 hr behind schedule)....

All heaved a sign of relief.... we have made it, now to collect our baggage and make it to our 'home-sweet-home'. The plane taxied for about 10-15 mins...first time we knew how BIG is the Bangalore HAL airport.... and finally parked at 'some' location in the Airport.

We reach the Bangalore Airport and waited for the luggage to arrive. A few more minute(s) and we are at home :-) High hopes....but wait ...it that all...an announcement came over the PA which heard something like "Due to the aircraft being parked at a remote location, there would be a 30-45 mins delay in luggage arrival" ... WHAT !!! :-)

Well, the luggage did finally arrive..and folks would finally exit the Bangalore HAL airport at 1:30 am morning. Good Morning Bangalore !

Next time we will try ...www.indianrailways.com ... :-)
